design versus decor

Many clients question their need for an Interior Designer — and as a go-getter myself, I get it! The scope of an Interior Designer can fully encompass every physical element within the Architectural shell of a building - from wall layouts to ceiling design; plumbing and electrical coordination; through to millwork and interior finishes — flooring, tile, moulding and the like. Not only does this require overall construction knowledge and familiarity on municipal building codes, but also an expansive grasp of building products and fixtures, and how they might each fit into a specific budget. While Interior Decorating can be the completion cherry on top, curating decor items and accessories to dress a space is its own unique process!

interior design

Puddle + Pine Projects offers a full service interior design package for spaces, big or small, which encompasses all phases of a design project, from schematic design to construction drawings, elevations and all finish + fixture selections.  Depending on the project scope and complexity, this includes consultant coordination, and can apply to both new build + renovation projects; applicable to both residential and commercial spaces.

millwork design

A favourite element of ours in interior design is millwork design + detailing.  If you are simply looking to have a custom piece designed to enhance the style or functionality of your space, look no further.  Custom woodwork can define a room and easily become the conversation piece if executed in just the right way.

test fits

If you're unsure about committing to a renovation, or are unsure about the feasibility of a space, consider having a test fit completed.  This process involves the study of preliminary layouts for furniture and/or walls to determine the best course of action moving forward.
